About US
We are a proud family-owned and operated business serving authentic gourmet Venezuelan cuisine.
THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING SMALL LOCAL BUSINESS!
Arepa Culture’s journey began in 2014 as one of the Triangle’s first arepa food trucks. Founded by Pedro Rodriguez, originally from Caracas, Venezuela, and his wife, Hannia Jara, from Costa Rica, alongside their son, Marcel Jara and his high school sweetheart, Alexa. What started as one food truck grew into a second truck and eventually our first brick-and-mortar restaurant in Raleigh in 2021.
More than a decade later, we’re excited to begin a new chapter at Six Forks Station. We’re still a small, family-owned and operated business and we continue to put our heart and soul into sharing Venezuelan food and culture with our community. We’re also proud to continue our commitment to a dedicated gluten-free kitchen, which has become especially meaningful to many of our customers.
Our new location gives us more room to grow, build new connections in the Six Forks community and elevate the overall dining experience while staying true to who we are. We plan to expand our coffee, beer and wine offerings, grow our catering business, introduce new specials and eventually expand our hours to include breakfast. Above all, we want to continue focusing on quality ingredients, great food and putting genuine love and care into everything we do.
