  1. How can I find your trucks?

Stay connected via our social media! We post our schedule for the entire week at the start of each week, in addition to posting our everyday locations with hours/addresses on a daily basis on Facebook, Instagram & Twitter! Check out our schedule for this week!

You can also find our schedule via StreetFoodFinder here on our website.

3. How can I book you for a private event?

We would love to make your special event a memorable one. You can fill out the form on our Catering page and our event coordinator will follow up with more details.

4. Where do you usually take your trucks?

We typically travel around the Triangle area on a daily basis (Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, Cary, Wake Forest, Holly Springs, Apex, etc). Occasionally, we also drive to Greensboro, Winston Salem & Mebane for large food truck festivals.

We usually serve at corporate office buildings, local breweries/bottle shops, apartment complexes/neighborhoods and large events/festivals at parks & downtowns.

5. Is everything you serve gluten-free?

YES! The arepa, itself, is naturally gluten-free so we chose to keep our entire menu 100% gluten-free as well. In addition, we can happily accommodate a variety of other dietary restrictions or preferences.

6. Are you celiac friendly?

Although we are not certified gluten-free, we do not use any ingredients that contain wheat, rye or barley (gluten). Additionally, we have many loyal celiac customers who have safely eaten with us and who continue to eat with us. With that being said, we do serve at local craft breweries and at events with other non-gluten-free food trucks so there may be a possibility for cross-contamination outside of our truck. Check out our reviews on Find Me Gluten Free!

7. What is the arepa, itself, made out of?

We use 3 simple, clean ingredients: 100% pure white cornmeal, filtered water & a little salt. That's it! Always 100% gluten-free, soy-free, egg-free, dairy-free, etc!

8. Do you serve anything besides arepas?

We specialize in arepas, but our restaurant features an expanded menu with other yummy authentic Venezuelan eats. Check out our MENU.

9. How many arepas do people typically eat?

Two arepas is usually recommended for a meal. One is better for a snack, but, of course, that depends on how much you can eat and how hungry you are.

10. Are you allergy-friendly?

Yes! We can happily accommodate a variety of dietary restrictions based on the Top 8 Food Allergens (milk, fish, crustacean shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, etc). Always be sure to let the team member at the order window know of any important allergies when ordering so we can better assist you and take the proper precautions when preparing your order.

11. I have a place where I think your trucks could serve, how do I get this set up?

We are always happy to learn about new locations. If there's a local brewery/bottle shop, corporate office, apartment/neighborhood community, etc. that you have in mind, feel free to fill out the form on our Contact us page or send us an email at arepaculturenc@gmail.com with any details that you’d like to share.

12. Is your food kid-friendly?

Absolutely! We are still working on educating and bringing awareness to what arepas are, especially to children who can sometimes be picky-eaters. Feel free to ask the team member at the window for suggestions or recommendations as we are always happy to help! Luckily, none of our arepas are spicy which is helpful as it allows more options for the kids. Additionally, we can prepare an arepa with just melted cheese (similar to a grilled cheese) which you can request at the window. Check out our MENU.

13. Do you have vegetarian and vegan options?

We sure do! We have 2 signature vegetarian arepas (“La Capresa”) & (“La Quesua”) and 2 specialty vegetarian options (“El Beyond” & “La Dominó”) which can both be made vegan. All of which are delicious and full of flavor! Check out our MENU. Also, we are planning to expand our vegetarian & vegan menu options in the near future so stay tuned for that!
